Ben and Jessica were married at Faithbrooke Barn and Vineyard. Faithbrooke is a new venue in Luray, VA. It is easy to love this place. It's tucked away in the Blue Ridge Mountains overlooking the Massanutten Mountains. It rained the entire week before the wedding and there was a chance of rain on their day. Thankfully there were just a few sprinkles during dinner. Jessica got ready in a gorgeous log cabin with her bridesmaids and mother. We arrived at Faithbrooke just before the ceremony. The sun shined, and there was so much love surrounding their wedding day. Carper's Florist based out of Front Royal, VA put together some beautiful floral arrangements. Ben and Jessica's wedding was one of my favorites. They are one of the nicest couples and documenting their wedding day for them was an honor.

Jon and Kaitlin's wedding was in October and held on Lydia Mountain in Standardsville, VA. They had one of my absolute favorite ceremonies. Kaitlin sang to Jon, they prayed, they prayed with their parents, and sang together - it was beautiful and I'll never forget it. Their love and faith is so strong and it was a wonderful thing to document. Here are some of my favorite photos from their wedding day.
Here is a short video I made for Jon and Kaitlin
The Museum of the Shenandoah Valley, what a stunning venue. From the colors and textures found in their lush gardens to their fountains; Glen Burnie Gardens may have been one of my favorite venues of 2015. To top it off, Kyle and Katie were a lovely couple with a wholesome love. They ended their wedding day celebrating in the Pink Pavilion, the perfect place for gathering with their family and friends. I wish the best of luck to you, Kyle and Katie! xo
Lauren is a fellow photographer who has become a wonderful friend. She always has a smile on her face and makes the best of any situation. Her outlook on life is always positive, which is always great to be around. We drove backroads, walked under bridges and went through tunnels for her session. We started under a bridge in Harpers Ferry. Then we drove backroads and were caught in a storm. The rain discouraged us, but we found shelter under a tunnel which ended up being a great place to continue her session. Photo sessions are always an adventure and I would not have it any other way! Check out this lovely ginger....

Jessica Seibel is an incredibly talented model from the Shenandoah Valley. I picked her up before sunrise one foggy morning to go on a short adventure. We stopped at a graveyard, swinging bridge, creek, someone's yard, and more for her session. At the end of her session she braved the cold water while I poured milk around her, haha, but we captured one of my favorite photos. I am thrilled to work with her very soon! It's going to be spectacular, I can feel it!
We started Erik's session at an old warehouse and then drove to downtown Winchester. I am so inspired by people, which is the main reason I love portrait photography.
